This aluminum boom claw is in great condition. This is an older piece, once popularly used for boom roller reefing. There would be a crank at the gooseneck that rotated the while boom and wrap the sail around it. Mostly used for attaching the boom vang to the boom! It is 35 1/2” total length. There are 3 roller that fit around the boom - these are 6 1/4” inside diameter. The very top fits into the boom. This area measures 4 3/8” long x 3” wide. The very top circumference is 5” diameter. 6 bolt to secure. The rollers are in fair condition. This thing is made of mostly aluminum but some stainless. Marked with made BY AMBAU.
