This wood and bronze winch is in excellent working condition. It is single speed but the top (the top only where the handle inserts) does go the other direction but the winch itself does not move. The winch is 3 1/2” diameter x 3 1/8” tall. The insert for a handle is 1 1/4” x 1/4”. The bronze combing is overall in good condition. Does have a few small nic marks to were it got hit with a blade while removing. This particular winch and combing was removed off a cape dory 25.
